France sucks

WEll I still dont like it here.. Its been really long time and I still amtn used to what these french are!!!
there is something terribly wrong with me ( or them ;) )
The main reason for my unhappiness currently is that ?I cant go home for few more months..
Well I really got pissed off at them for declining my leave request though I have been telling them for so god damn many months..
Anyway letme see whre this is taking me to..

Helen Fisher

Revisitng my thoughts abt her.. I still think I would like to read her works.. Atlast I could find one of her first books in a little affordable price..Ordered it through amazon..Waiting for it to be shipped!!!

In the meantime thanks to my other friend's here I did read quiet a few books as I was mentioning in my previous blog

Well in the context of my prev blog.. I did get a job but i amnt happy in it for more than few months !!! :(

Practicality Vs Confidence

Well these days I am realizing/ think that people misunderstand these two and only you would understand whether to display confidence in that matter or show practicality and realize the impracticalities of the situation.

IF you ask me getting a job here is not easy... Its not about my profile.. I have confidence that many people would be interested in my profile but most people also want you to speak little french. Learning a new language is not that easy. Atleast amnt finding learning French anyeasy!!!...


Practically the IT market is less here and not like India and you should speak GOOD french...now where would confidence help you in this?


Probably the irony would be France based company is Ok with English and English based company needs french???

I am hoping to get a job soon...max by next week... waiting to hear from them... ah come on they take so damn long but the signs look positive...looks like they are preparing my offer letter?

Long time since i visited my own page...
well thse days its more of ..helen fisher :)
She worked on really amazing stuff and I would sure like to read a lot more of her work..
Well before that perhaps my eyes should behave well :) (which they rnt from past 4 months ...but the docs says no serious prob)
Well she says (fisher) .. that doing something new and fascinating would boost dopamine? well probably thats y people end up going for lot of sightseeing and all after 2 years of marriage :)
life kind of get routine/boring I guess.. and doing new things would help !!! (hope so :) )
ah am learnign french...goodness dont ask...its so diff from english

and am also in kind of good mood these days coz I think I got the job :D
well fingers crossed till I meet the HR on 19th... 2 more weeks

Somany thoughts cross my mind each day ..about wht would have happened if had done something else instead of this
wht if i didnt resign my job
wht if i had joined morganstanley long back
wht if i continued working in the start up i joined first

Paris

Well I did move to Paris but ...
I am not finding anything convincing enough here
I think had it been few 10 s of year earlier... you would have found a lot of difference
But now I dnno
yes the infrastructure is completely diff and better
and the climate(if u like to live in freezers)
but other than that wht else?
Its not about adjusting or getting used to ...
I amnt convinced abt living here for long...
currently i feel like going back as soon as get my residence permit..
I donno wht to do

Changes...

Ok so life is changing... thats the only thing constant about life right..... CHANGE
I need to make decisions which migth change my life in a bigger way..
well perhaps thats wht i need in my current stagnant boring life...
yeah its geting really boring these days
and a change of place and people ;) might do me some good.,..
lets hope for the best
but really am so damn bored currently...

Possessiveness

I hear most people saying I am so possessive abt him/her. But if she/he does anything which doesnt go well with oneself.. then they would be ready to leave her/him..
Then wht did u even try possessing in the first place if u can let them go off so easily?
You can lose wht u wanted to possess for things tht she or he has done..
wait an min..stop and look back... dont u feel these things to be trivial when compared to having him/her in ur life or not?
y dont people see it tht way
wht is tht u tried to possess if u cudnt possess it at the end? and if u could so easily nt want to possess it anymore..

Limits

There is this so called thingy called limits.. in any relation or anything...
When woul u realise limit?
i would say u would only realise only after u cross it and only IF u really care to look back and see that LINE that u crossed.. Else when would u ever realise??

I mean just live ur life the way u want without considering al lthis arbit crap like limits or whtever

Kids!!!

Its all speculation out here...wht all hope makes u do... invest in shares..invest in this ,.. invest in that..? i mean its all speculation..hope!!!

Now give it a min and think about kids...

Ask me how they are related..
whts the percentage of people who give birth to kids and hope that they wil take care of them or thy will add some more happiness in their lives or blah blah...

Now I say kids is sort of investment for which u HOPE to have a better returns in whatever form
Incase of shares u see the numbers when u login into sharekhan or anything but incase of kids u just dont want to see the numbers.. thats all :)

I amnt saying am against the philosophy of ahving kids... afterall its only human to keep hoping.. :)

Pain

What is pain... an woman asked me when I was trying to buy an epilator in Italy :)
Such a beautiful question it was...though it was asked in a completely different context.. She doesnt speak english and knows very few words and she didnt know PAIN :)

It really made me feel so good for a while.. even now whenever I think of that I try to imagine a world without pain..or a person who doesnt understand pain in their life... What life would that be ? beautiful? or is it like light vs darkness..which hold meanings only with respect to the other or only in the presence of the other...
